What’s on...Summer 2019
Emma Fozard
It may not feel like Summer in weather terms but it’s the season of Ascot, garden parties and weddings so if you are thinking of hat shopping opportunities then here are some dates for your diary. Hope to see you soon!
Last year the sun shone and the football was on!
This year myself and fellow Marketplace creatives will be showing as a collective at Venue 4:
St Paul’s Church in Heaton Moor.
It will be a great opportunity to view and try on my latest designs plus I’ll be having a clearance sale so a chance to bag a hand made Millinery bargain!
It’s on 29th and 30th June from 11-5pm.
There’s a map available here showing the venues plus there’s cafes and art workshops en route so a great family day out.
Better have a tidy up!
I now share a studio with Lauren Taylor and on the 6th July we will be opening up to the public for a behind the scenes peek at our work space: come along to chat about our creative practice, our work processes and get a feel for how we design and make.
Sat above the cobbled market square you’d be surprised at the bubbling creativity that sits hidden under our roof.
Combine it with a trip to the market to buy plastic free fruit and veg, browse the vintage stores and meander the back streets to uncover the secret Stockport and all it’s independent shops and cafes that are a stones throw from our studios.
Sale Arts Trail 2019
13th July 10-5pm
14th July 10-4pm
Sale Arts Trail returns this summer with open studios, exhibitions, a pop up shop and an artist takeover of Minikin. Walk the trail and stop at work places of artists producing ceramics, paintings, jewellery, photography, sculpture, print and glass.
I will be at Venue A: Minikin,
57 Cross Street, Sale, M33 7HF
